  • We knew this day would eventually come, but somehow we’re still misting up a little — Linux has been ported to the iPhone and iPod touch. Dev Team member planetbeing is the mastermind in charge of bringing everyone’s favorite open-source OS to Apple’s handhelds, and while it’s a little rough around the edges (read: no touchscreen drivers, sound, or WiFi / cell radio support), it’s definitely the first step on the road to hacking nirvana. • Readers, the November Issue of the Top 10 Hit Songs is now out! Find out who made the list. If some of you weren’t able to read the Top Hit Songs – October Issue, it is still available.
Anyways here are the top songs that made to this monthly list:

    1. Womanizer – Britney Spears
From last month’s number 6, Britney Spears latest single “Womanizer” ascends as the Top 1 hit song for the month of November. After a lot of comebacks she made and without too much public appearances made by the British singer, this single from her latest album Circus was still able to catch public’s attention. This “comeback” song has all the beats every party-goer wants, that’s why no doubt it immediately peaked at number 6 on Billboard’s Top 100 Singles this week, and number on the Top 10 Hit songs – November Issue.

    2. Keeps Gettin’ Better – Christina Aguilera
This might sound crazy having this month’s number 1 song’s artist’s rival on the same list! Britney Spears pop scene rival Christina Aguilera is also currently rocking the airwaves with her latest hit song Keeps Gettin’ Better. While I was listening to this song, I instantly recalled an almost the same intro beat with Britney Spears’ Radar. You have to listen to both, but that’s another story. Anyways, Keeps Gettin Better is a must-hear song!

    3. In The Ayer – Flo-Rida
One of my favorite black singers still made it to this month’s list. Why? In simplest terms In the Ayer has no bad points and the beat is so dance-able! That’s it!

    4. If I Were A Boy – Beyonce
This song is Beyonce’s latest offering to all her fans, count me as one of them. This song is from her latest album “I Am..” If I’m not mistaken, I think I heard another version of this song — this time it’s male singer singing “If I Were A Girl”. I’m serious. There’s really one. Going back, the melody is oh-so-good and I think this is her greatest achievement yet as fas as her latest album is concerned, and that is saying something.

    5. Disturbia – Rihanna
Last month’s number 1 sinked to Number 6. Well, it’s not bad. Rihanna is still Rihanna. An Icon, for me at least. Rihanna has just visited the Philippines along with her real-life hubby Chris Brown and rocked the Bonifacio Global City Open Field. How I wish I was there. *sigh*
Funny thing about Rihanna is that they were allegedly spotted at a “Tiangge” in Manila a day after their concert. Well, it’s so good of her to try some spots in our country.

  • He says Microsoft has a lot to prove, and will be challenged by a lot of skeptics with the company’s foray into a sector already so crowded. Nonetheless, with Microsoft’s reach, and the lessons learned from the mediocrity surrounding Zune, Pink might have some potential. Assuming Microsoft did in fact learn some lessons from Zune. Which might be a big assumption. Read more

  • The Process Explorer show consists of two sub-windows. The top window always displays a list of the currently active processes, including the names of their owning accounts, whereas the data showed in the bottom window depends on the mode that Process Explorer is in: if it is in handle mode you’ll see the handles that the process selected in the top window has opened; if Process Explorer is in DLL mode you’ll see the DLLs and memory-mapped files that the process has loaded. • The majority of Virus and Trojan Scanners are well able to detect malicious Trojan Horses and Internet Worms but are not always very efficient in removing them once they have been triggered.

Trojan Remover was written specifically to carry out such a removal without the user having to manually edit system files, including the Registry. The program also removes the additional system modifications some Trojans carry out which are ignored by other Virus and Trojan Scanners. Read more

  • Christmas is fast approaching, and so the major rival TV networks from the Philippines, ABS-CBN 2 and GMA 7 have just launched their respective Christmas Station IDs. This post will actually fall under a new category I’d like to introduce here in my blog — VERSUS — a comparison of two or more things, events, persons, etc. And for my VERSUS Category primer post, it’s up between ABS CBN and GMA! You can watch the YouTube videos of the the two networks at ABS-CBN vs GMA Station ID || Bunsoi Magazine,  and you be the judge.

  • A Thailand flag flying boat is heading from Oman to Yemen loaded with goods humanity needs. And suddenly, they were being chased by two speedboats.  They sent a distress call to Sirichai Fisheries Co., Ltd.; but the message was cut off midway.  Mayday! Mayday!  . . .  A distress call may not have completed, at least three times, to emphasize the urgency of the call.  The pirates might have already boarded.   As it was, Somali pirates have boarded and seized the vessel and the crew were held hostage at gun point.  Read more at Pinoy Barking Hall
