SEX AND THE CITY (ON THE BIG SCREEN)

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

A lot of movies are a must-see for fashionistas and women on the go.  Two years ago it was THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, while this year (hopefully this year) its SEX AND THE CITY.

The series hold up a poke fun at the trends that we take so seriously, and the plots are fun and the acting are so amusing, but really, we are going to see the clothes, the set, and the styling on tv, as well as on the big screen.  SEX AND THE CITY IS NOT DISAPPOINTING. (FOR SURE ON THE BIG SCREEN TOO!)

Try to visit this website www.fashionspot.weebly.com, wherein I’ve found the link that reveals where Carrie usually hung out.  There you can find also the release dates, reviews and trailer for SEX AND THE CITY.  Also you can find some links on this site some ideas on how to start up a small business like there are thousands of handbags design that I can use if ever I will pursue the bag industry.  In fashion I’ve found this link the new must-haves this season.  Then shop like a fashionista, you can search all the best in fashion, and other practical business information on fashion.

This site is informative and really helpful for me, and also for you too.  So try to visit, again www.fashionspot.weebly.com

Thanks! Have a nice day!

2008 World Pyro Olympics - Day 2

What’s with WPO and the rain? I do not know. But ever since the 1st WPO, there is always a day or two where it rains so hard either in the afternoon or right when the first participant is ready to lit the skies, and again we’re dripping, soaked, wet!

But just like in the previous WPO’s (especially the 1st WPO), people stood their ground and never left their places, who cares about the rain when you are about to see one of the world’s best fireworks? The crowd started to

Tuloy na tuloy na!! Yes, the 2008 World Pyro Olympics will start this Saturday, May 3rd and there’s no stopping this grand pyrotechnics event in the Philippines (NOT even strong winds and heavy rain - we were there during the 1st WPO, twice it rained hard, but the show went on!)

Port of friendship

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

The City of Tagbilaran prides itself of being a city of friendship. This claim is based on the historic blood compact between Rajah Sikatuna and the Miguel Lopez de Legaspi. The agreement between the Spanish conquistador and a native chieftain has been described as one of the first, if not the first, treaty between the east and the west. Read more at Bol-anon.

The Return of Filipino Animation

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

It’s been years since we last saw a full-length Filipino animation and that time we all reacted that it is not at par yet with American Cartoons, Japanese Anime, and the general Animation industry in the world. BUT, if we kept an open-mind back then, Filipino Animation releases (full-length or otherwise) becomes better and better for every release.

And you know what? This year we will be able to see the (as gamers say it) “bestest” of Filipino Animation has to offer. Want to see the trailers?

Latest Philippine Online Games List

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

There are many reasons why an individual or a group will want to know the Online Games that is available for the Philippines. You may be a student doing your thesis about online gaming, or a foreign company planning on entering the Philippine Market. I’ve received praises, requests, and thank you’s because of the Philippines Online Games List I have been maintaining for years already (I even received inquiries about how to contact this and that publisher/GSP, like Level-Up Games and IP e-Games to mention two, and I gladly showed them the path).

Some also maintain their own PH-OG List - some will give back credit, some will not (and that’s fine), while some exerted extra effort to create their own listing from scratch, without using or looking at other listings (I praise you). But now, I am giving all of you the freedom. Don’t exert that extra effort to create and/or maintain your own listing, come and use mine, I am releasing the latest version of the Philippine Online Games List under GNU Free Documentation License.

Get it now by visiting this link.

Enjoy! And I hope I helped ya!
God Bless!

White sands of Candabong, Anda, Bohol

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

No doubt it was the highlight of our vacation in Bohol. Last December 30, we trooped from the mountains of Sudlon, Alicia, Bohol, where my wife hails, to the enchanting white sands of Candabong, Anda, a nearby town, for a cool Rizal Day splash.

The beach was public. We paid absolutely nothing to get in. The sand was creamy white and not artificial, unlike those in other private resorts in the province. At the farthest end of the semi-oval stretch of white sand is a small rock/island shaped like a soldier’s helmet. Along the shore were lines of boats and huts lying idly, as if time has stopped in that corner of the world.Read more at my Bohol blog, the Bol-anon.
