Thursday, December 6th, 2007

Now it is possible to talk to your AIM® Buddies via your Gmail web-interface. Note that this is not a federation of Google and AOL, in other words, it is not the ability to add AIM Buddies to your Gmail/Google Talk contacts.

How much did you earn last month?

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

I did a search for “blog net earnings survey” and ended up with this post by Darren Rowse at www.problogger.net announcing the result of a poll they conducted asking their readers how much did they earn from Adsense in November 2005. Now, consider this: I started this new blog (Net Earnings) recently and found Rowse’s post on December 3, 2007. Can you blame me for doing a new poll? Read more at Net Earnings.

Weak Link between Game Addiction and Aggression

Saturday, May 19th, 2007

Or let me rephrase it, there evidence is weak linking game addiction and violence. So in other words, the argument that “Gamers Will Soon Become War-Freak Adults” was just a politician’s attempt to blame gaming for something the society does not want to blame on them (the politicians).

How to test your site under IE6 without uninstalling IE7, and how to target IE6 without using scripts..

Friday, May 18th, 2007

Creating a website still has obstacles to cross and conquer. The major concern if not the #1 is browser-compatibility, especially when it comes to Internet Explorer.

Friendster Profile Layout & LinkedIn Groups

Saturday, May 12th, 2007

I don’t really bother or even check my Friendster Profiles, but just for the fun of it, I updated my three Friendster accounts. And as I see that there is no LinkedIn group for the Philippines and the East Asia Community, I created these two group over at Google Groups. Continue reading here…

Geek Talk: Gmail, iPod, and WordPress

Thursday, February 8th, 2007

What do you get when you have three web standards enthusiasts a.k.a. standardistas a.k.a. geeks in a YM conference room?

Disaster.

People should know that I’m not much of a talkative person, both online and offline. When someone sends me a message, I normally respond with, “Hey,” then go on with my pathetic life, all traces of the so-called conversation forgotten. There are times, however, when I feel the need to be makulit. Naughty, naughty, naughty - but not in the way you’re thinking, if that’s what you’re thinking. Coz, you know, I might have left an impression with my previous entry. =p

I was supposed to post here a part of our mind-boggling geeky talk, but I think that would spoil the surprise. =)

More: On to the more interesting tidbits.
