I have just launched a new website for my accounting practice and consultancy. As mentioned in the website, my services will be geared towards small and medium enterprises, or SMEs, as well as online or internet ventures in the Philippines.

I believe that, unlike large companies which have huge accounting departments with ready access to established accounting and auditing firms, SMEs usually make do with the crudest record-keeping by its owners and managers as source of financial information.

Bo Sanchez and Rudy Torres, will conduct a seminar entitled “Truly Rich Super Direct Marketing Program” on February 8 and 9. Bo, of course, is the famous lay preacher, while Rudy Torres is a markeing guru who is said to have grossed P9M just by marketing one product in 9 months.

Also, Bo Sanchez together with Jomar Hilario will also conduct another seminar entitled “Truly Rich Hands-on Internet Marketing Workshop” on February 15 and 16.

Accounting is really easy. It is not rocket science. In fact, your regular accountant may be, as the popular tv game would say, not as smart at your regular fifth grader.

I did a search for “blog net earnings survey” and ended up with this post by Darren Rowse at www.problogger.net announcing the result of a poll they conducted asking their readers how much did they earn from Adsense in November 2005. Trading in a stock market like the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) means you buy and sell shares of stock of companies listed there. You can do this either through a stock broker or by yourself online. To earn from this trade, you have to know when to get in (buy) and when to get out (sell). In the Cashflow 101 workshop I attended a few months back, I learned that it is not enough that you save. You must know where to invest your savings, know how to make your money work for you. Our office received recently an invitation to the launching of the Livelihood Lending Facility for Government Employees this May 2, 2007 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC).
