The Toledo City will be hosting three big events in one day, namely; the City Thanksgiving in Honor of the Feast day of San Juan de Sahagun, the premier and first Launching of the Hinulawan Festival (”Hin-ulawan”) a contraction of two words “Hinaguang Bulawan”, a festival showcasing the talents and ingenuity of Toledanos by depicting dances dating back to the Pintados, Pre-Spanish, Spanish, Rural, Neo-ethnic to Modern Era and the Provincial Capitol’s tourism project Suroy-Suroy Sugbo that will bring pride to our City, and hope to be included in the

Toldeo City Mayor Arlene Zambo and Toledo City Vice-Mayor Rudy Espinosa Hoist Philippine Flag

It was joined in by all the Local & National offices of the City. The Sangguniang Panlungsod spearheaded by Toledo City Vice-Mayor Rudy Espinosa and the Toledo City officials made their presence visible. A short civic military parade of City officials was done in front of the Toledo City Hall marshalled by PNP and BFP. And a grand salute from Toledo city Mayor Zambo and Toldeo City Vice-Mayor Rudy Espinosa made the event worthy of emulation. July 2008 Marine O.I.C. Board Exam Results 001 - 500

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,126 out of 4,204 examinees passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination for the various ranks given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila on July 12 and 13, 2008. One (1) examinee in the July 2002 Practical Phase now completed the written and practical examinations. And a total of 577 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

Roll of Successful Examinees in the FORESTER LICENSURE EXAMINATION JULY 2008

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 194 out of 379 passed the Forester Licensure Examination given by the Board for Foresters in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Davao, Legazpi, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this July 2008.

The members of the Board for Foresters are Monina T. Uriarte, Chairman; Jose A. Lorenzo and Gerardo T. Cabreros, Members. Nineteen (19) applicants were approved for registration without examination as Foresters. Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, July 14, 2008 but not later than July 28, 2008. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces 1″ x 1″ and 2″ x 2″ pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2008-2011. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Sampaguita Hall, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
