Professional Country Line Dance Teacher thinking of moving to the Philippines.

I would like to contact those of you that are attempting to move Country Music forward in the Philippines.

I have decided to retire to the 'greater' Asia area soon. I am a professional Country Line Dance teacher (single). I have accomplished many innovative and exciting events and participation in line dancing. I personally know over 200-300 line dances to most all of the country songs. (Both new and older 'nightclub' line dances. "From 'Giddy On Up' & 'Redneck Woman' to oldies such as Watermelon Crawl (Tim McGraw) & Boot Scootin Boogie (Brooks & Dunn)). I am a high energy, high excitement line dance teacher.

I have started and run many competition line dance groups, from stage-performing teen teams...to senior cardio aerobics groups. I understand the issues and logistics to introducing line dancing to new areas and new ages/generations. The bulk of my experience has been in the larger country music nightclubs of the north and south Atlantic states of the USA. I have been active, and teaching, line dancing since the early 1990's. So almost 20 yrs. as a line dance teacher. I teach pretty much all country music lessons...and some hot new songs that aren't country...(Lady Gaga..!). I have many news articles & letters of reference of all of the different periods of my dance teaching over the last almost 20 yrs.

My intention at the very least, is to move to a fairly populated area of Asia and attempt to teach line dancing as a means for supporting myself. I intend to attempt to teach line dancing in small gathering halls or even country music nights at regular nightclubs.

I have owned the dance production enterprise and website of Stompers Dance Productions. I am currently residing in Tampa, Florida (USA).

One of the most rewarding/fulfilling times as a dance teacher was when I created and ran "TEEN COUNTRY". Teen Country was a 4 year program of me introducing Country Line Dancing to teenagers. (and of course Country Music as well) Teen Country consisted of three major parts.

1. First I would go into local high schools, and take charge of PE classes (Gym Classes). I would teach two easy line dances during the class. Then play the country music song and get them all doing the dances. Also get the students very excited and well exercised for that class. Classes usually were comprised of 200 - 1500 high school teens each.

2. Second part of Teen Country was to hold regular country dance nights during the week, that the teens could attend. There they would be taught more cool & exciting line dances. Each week the teens would bring new friends with them when they came to the regular night/weekly dance. (Any day of the week works for the teens...)

3. Third part of Teen Country was a 'performance dance team'. As many as 20 (sometimes as much as 40-50) teens became a dance team under my direction. The dance team performed at all types of events. From local street/county fairs to actually performing on big stages before big stars like Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn etc.

I am interested in researching and attempting to revive the TEEN COUNTRY program where I decide to retire.

My intention ( and hope) for writing to this blog is to ask for help, or should I say input, as to whether the population of country music fans, of the Philippines, think that there is opportunity to succeed as a country line dance teacher there. I would appreciate any an all feedback available, both good & bad. Such as what is the current state of country music and line dancing there...such as nightclubs...gathering halls...and where...etc...

I am 54 years old, single, with the health of a 30-40 yr old. (Because of line dancing!) I would love to help with the cause of growing country music there. Also, I think I could be very effective in doing so. I estimate that I have 20-30 yrs of teaching left, and I would like to do it somewhere in the Asia area. I can be reached at 'MitchAtStompersDancingDotCom'. I can also forward copies of news articles and reference letters if requested. As you might see above, country music and the teaching of country line dancing is my passion (avocation) of my life. I intend to continue it where I decide to retire to.

I currently also run the MeetUpDotCom/RedneckSinglesDances group here in Tampa,FL (USA)

Thanx in advance for any help you might offer.

Dodong Sniper, padayon sa pag sulat bahin ana nila. Grabe, kanus-a kaba matapos kana nga sindikato.
Bag-o lang sila gumawa ng nangyari sa SM Dasma DBO. 8million ang nakuha nila.
Grabe, ngano kaha gyud na dili man na dakpon nila ba? Agree ko ani....."How to kill a tree? ...not by cutting the branches but go to the roots and dig it. The roots of the crime in the capital is here in Ozamis, why not our PNP officials will not extend their operations here in Ozamis since they all know that after series of robbery in NCR they will go home (Ozamis) and hide,"
MAayo unta ug ang administration ni Aquino matapos na ni nga sindikato ba..
