We found Moalboal was divided into two major areas. The White Beach area has the best white-sandy beaches and more beautiful beach resorts. Generally, we found the resorts at White Beach were newer and more “up-market” than what can be found at Panagsama.

The Panagsama area is more rocky and focused on those who come to Moalboal for diving. In addition to shops the rent diving equipment and provide various services for divers, Panagsama has more hotels, bars, and restaurants for the budget-conscious traveler.
