I came across a blorticle [blog article] na sinulat ng kaibigan kong si pat. It was about the little things us Filipinos can do to help the country [link]. Miniscule they may be, but if all efforts are combined, we can make one hell of a difference. Basahin nyo! It’s a good blorticle.
Anyway, as i read, one of the points he raised caught my attention.
9. Lastly, smile. - It’s very nice to face a day smiling. With your smile, other people will smile at you too.
True, in a sense. Kaso dito sa ating magaling na bansa, a smile isn’t just a smile. Ito ay may ibig sabihin. Pahiwatig kumbaga. Lets face it, most of our compatriots are simply too cynical. Lahat ng bagay iniisipan ng masama. I must admit may pagka-cynical din ako, but i keep it in check, di tulad ng iba dyan [bato bato sa langit, tamaan magbago!!]. Dahil dito, i’ve prepared a list of possible meanings ng mga ngiti dito sa ating bayan.
